Surrounded on three sides by Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park — the land next to your campsite is protected forever. Nearly 1 mile of river frontage. The Argonaut farm-to-fork cafe is genuinely good. 45ft RVs accommodated.

The historic mining-era ditch trail starting near the south end of the campground follows an 1850s water diversion channel used for gold mining. Completely unmarked, almost never used by guests. ⇒ Water: The granite ledges at the resort’s private river access form natural pools at varying depths. Best swimming is in the eddy below the main riffle — 8–10 feet deep, calm even at moderate flow. Gold panning in the shallows above this section still occasionally yields color.
