Heyburn Park is one of the nicest Corps of Engineers locations with well-maintained facilities, a beautiful sand beach, and popular water recreation including fishing for crappie, bass, and catfish. It's an inexpensive overnight option close to I-44 with select sites offering electric hookups.

Coming from OKC, continue east on I-44 on Turner Turnpike. There are 2 exits that may be taken. Option 1 : Exit 196, exiting towards Bristow/Keystone Lake. From Bristow, go north towards HWY 48 and continue straight on OK-66 past the PDQ gas station for roughly 5 miles.
