Juniper Springs Group Campground is a primitive facility located about 10 miles from Big Bear Lake, a scenic, year-round recreation destination. The camp offers a great location from which to explore the mountains of Southern California.The campground is located in the San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 7,739 feet, where ponderosa pines dot the site. A pinyon pine and juniper woodland and meadow surround the area and a small pond is on-site.A grocery store, general store and restaurants can be found 11 miles away in Big Bear Lake.
