Lake Owen is a scenic federal campground adjacent to a 55-acre lake with well-maintained sites overlooking the water and Snowy Range views. The campground offers excellent fishing and boating access with good privacy between sites.
Wildlife alert: Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Mule Deer, and Pronghorn are present in the area. Golden-mantled Ground Squirrels also inhabit the region.
