The Twin Lakes Campground is a small minimally developed site on the southern edge of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and southeast edge of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The site is popular with visitors wanting to fish on the boardwalks along Twin Lakes, hike and relax during the summer and fall. Trail #1874, accessing the wilderness, takes off from the campground through the remnants of an old burn area.
