Four Jeffrey offers gorgeous views of Table Mountain and the South Fork of Bishop Creek with excellent fishing for rainbow, brown, brook and Alpers trout. The campground is well-maintained, close to town, and provides access to John Muir Wilderness hiking and the nearby trailheads.
Wildlife alert: Panamint Rattlesnake and California King Snake present in area. Also Mule Deer, Gray-headed Pika, American Beaver, and Gray Fox. Bird species include Hepburn's Rosy-Finch, Sierra Nevada Rosy-Finch, Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch, and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

From Highway 395 in the center of Bishop, turn west on Line Street (Highway 168) and continue west for 14 miles, then drive south on South Lake Road. The campground is 1 mile up South Lake Road.
