Iron Mountain Campground sits on the southern banks of DeGray Lake with excellent water recreation including boating, water skiing, kayaking, and fishing for hybrid striped bass. The location offers numerous hiking and horseback riding trails around the lake shore.
Wildlife alert: Western Diamondback Rattlesnake present in area. Also Midland Watersnake, Little Brown Skink, White-tailed Deer, and various bird species including Blue Jay and Common Loon.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Skyline Drive and continue for another 2.5 miles. Turn right on Iron Mountain Road and proceed to the campground.
