Sheridan is a well-maintained forest campground 7 miles south of Red Lodge with excellent access to the scenic Beartooth Highway, fishing on Main Fork Rock Creek, and nearby hiking trails into the Beartooth Wilderness. Campers praise its cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and convenient location.
Wildlife alert: Shiras Moose, American Black Bear, Moose, White-tailed Deer, Osprey, and American Dipper are present in the area. Bears have been spotted at the campground.
