Common questions

When do I pay the 5%?

Only when a camper books through CamperWatch and the payment clears. If we send you zero bookings in a month, your cost is zero. The 5% is deducted automatically before your payout — you never receive an invoice.

Can I still use Hipcamp and Airbnb at the same time?

Yes. CamperWatch's iCal sync imports your Hipcamp and Airbnb calendars every 15 minutes. When they take a booking, those dates are blocked on CamperWatch automatically. No double bookings.

Do campers pay a service fee on top of my price?

No. The 5% comes out of what the camper pays — you set the price and receive 95% of it. We don't add a separate guest service fee on top of your rate.

What payment processors are supported?

Stripe Connect (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay) and Square (same methods plus Cash App Pay). If you already use Square at your campground's POS, bookings go to the same account.

What's the refund policy?

Full refund if cancelled 14+ days before check-in. 50% refund 7–13 days out. No refund under 7 days. Owners can set stricter policies per campground.
