Kiki’s wins on location and personality. It’s the only RV park in San Felipe genuinely within walking distance of the Malecón — meaning you can leave your rig and walk to dinner, the fish market, and the beach bars without moving your vehicle. Owner Kiki Guzman has run this park for over 20 years, speaks excellent English, and is the best source of local intel in San Felipe: which fish taco stand opened this week, where the ATVs are, which pangas are catching fish. Small, social, and irreplaceable for first-timers.
Kiki’s personal recommendation list — ask him on arrival for the current best fish taco stand, the best ceviche, where the ATVs are running, and who’s catching fish. He updates this knowledge constantly and it’s better than any travel guide ever written about San Felipe.
What is new at Kiki's RV Camping & Hotel: 2026: Kiki added a second palapa communal area for guest use. New outdoor shower rinse station near beach access. Still cash only.
Wildlife alert: Brown pelicans are constant companions on the San Felipe waterfront and will approach for food. Don’t feed them. Stingrays in shallow beach water — shuffle feet.
Fire rules: Small propane stoves permitted at sites. No open fires at the campground.
Things to do near Kiki's RV Camping & Hotel: Walk to the Malecón at sunset — the light on the Sea of Cortez from the boardwalk is extraordinary. Ask Kiki for his fish taco recommendation — changes weekly based on who’s freshest. Saturday morning street market near the Malecón — fresh produce, seafood, local crafts. ATV dunes north of town — rent from a shop Kiki recommends for fair prices.

Skip Kiki's RV Camping & Hotel if: You have a rig over 30ft. You want solitude and private space. You need card payment options.
Best time to visit Kiki's RV Camping & Hotel: Jan–Mar — Perfect weather, vibrant town, snowbird community. Book 2–3 weeks ahead.. Oct–Nov — Shoulder season. Still warm, less crowded, excellent fishing..
Common issues at Kiki's RV Camping & Hotel: Sites are close together — not a private-camping experience. This is a social campground. Embrace it or choose Pete’s Camp (10 miles north) for more space. Max rig size ~25–30ft — larger rigs won’t fit without difficulty. Call Kiki directly before booking if your rig is over 25ft. He’ll tell you honestly if it works. No beachfront — beach access is a 5-minute walk through the property. Not an issue for those using it as a base camp. The walkability to town compensates completely. Cash only — no card payments. Bring USD or pesos. There are ATMs in San Felipe town 5 minutes away.

Kiki is a legend. He told us which fish taco stand opened this week, where the ATVs are running, and checked on us every morning. The location — walking distance to everything — is unbeatable. Best first-timer San Felipe choice.
Perfect for our 24ft trailer. Sites are cozy but every single one has a palapa. Kiki is genuinely one of the best campground hosts I’ve encountered in 20 years of Baja travel.
Called ahead, was told our 35ft trailer “might fit.” It did not fit without blocking the road. Had to back out and find Pete’s Camp. Call first and be specific about your rig length.
We walked to the Malecón every single night for two weeks. Sunset, pelicans, fresh ceviche, cold Pacifico. Never moved the truck. This is the whole point of San Felipe and Kiki’s puts you right in it.
